Sex, Drugs & Blueberries was written and directed by Crash Barry, based on his novel of the same name. He's the author of a gritty memoir Tough Island: True Stories from Matinicus, maine, which recounts the two years he spent living and working on the state's most remote island. He’s also the author of Marijuana Valley, an in-depth look at the trials and tribulations facing a group of cannabis cultivators growing Maine’s lucrative cash crop during the summer 2009. His monthly column One Maniac’s Meat appeared in The Bollard from 2008 until december 2015. He lives in the foothills of western maine with his wife, four dogs, three pigs and many chickens.
