In the late afternoon of Thursday, Oct. 22, Maine Republican activist Nick “Corn Pop” Blanchard glided his e-bike into the parking lot of the old Cumbies convenience store — now called “Country Farm” — on Mount Vernon Ave in Augusta. Almost immediately, he was surrounded by four livid conservative Christian women. And soon after, three Augusta police cruisers would arrive to try to sort out the hub-bub. No arrests were made, despite all sorts of angry words and accusations that the 37-year-old Blanchard was a chlamydia vector and was having sex with a local high schooler.
“The moral of this story,” said one of the cops on the scene, “is to stop sleeping with Nick Blanchard.”
The MAGA women had turned on their once-hero for several reasons: Most notably, he had been spreading chlamydia among his coterie of conservative Christian lovers. At this count, it appears there are at least five — if not six — secret gal pals whom he possibly infected. Including the local high school student whom he started having sex with a couple months after losing his bid for the school board by about 1,300 votes.
(Disturbingly, 1,258 Augusta citizens voted for the chud, who’d been making a name for himself by harassing LGBTQ teens, school teachers and administrators.)
I’m not identifying any of those involved by name, except for Blanchard. After all, his multiple sex partners didn’t choose to enter the public arena as victims of his diseased phallus.
(New around here? Search the Crash Report archive to read about Blanchard’s exploits since he moving to Maine from Rhode Island about six years ago. Stories include his involvement in a fatal accident in Oct. 2024 and an OUI arrest in Feb. 2025 after leaving his then-6-year old kid home alone. Also, Blanchard has a strong belief that the gays stole the rainbow symbol from the Christians, as you can read below.)
According to their individual social media (except for the 18-year-old high schooler), the angry women in the parking lot were right-wing Trump-supporters. Most notably, a 48-year-old woman who filmed the dispute and describes herself as “Conservative Christian Mama x 7.”
And, as you’ll soon hear and see, this lady was pissed.
In addition to being Blanchard’s sex partner, this woman was his sidekick and camera-person on many chuddish adventures in the last couple years. And, according to her video of the parking lot confrontation, she and Blanchard had been copulating until sometime in August.
These days, karma is stalking Blanchard as he enters the “Find Out” phase of FAFO.
Auditioning for Jerry Springer?
There are two videos of the convenience store parking lot kerfluffle, for a total of 19 minutes. The footage includes the arrival of three Augusta police cruisers carrying a trio of cops to keep the peace. If you search online, you’ll probably find the vids.
I’m not sharing the videos — or even a link — because there are all sorts of innocent folks in the raw footage. Including Blanchard’s 18-year-old former sex partner and local high school student whom he infected chlamydia and her aunt, who was trying to convince Blanchard to take another STD test. Unless you’re familiar with all the players in this sordid saga, some of the accusations and stories might be confusing.
None of these women should be put on blast. But most importantly, the 18-year-old appears in parts of the video and she’s obviously a victim of Blanchard, twenty years older than the high school student.
But I’ll share the start of the confrontation.
The woman videoing and yelling is one of his now former-lovers who helped Blanchard disrupt school board and city council meetings on multiple occasions. And she was with Blanchard when he was arrested during the No Kings rally in Oct. 2025. And she was left behind on the bridge when the cops hauled Blanchard off to jail. Luckily, a group of liberal women surrounded her to protect her from Blanchard’s foes at the rally.
MAGA clown detained at No Kings Rally
It was a beautiful autumn afternoon in Maine when Augusta cops cuffed and stuffed Nick Blanchard, aka “Corn Pop” taking him into temporary custody Saturday, around 1:40 pm, on the Memorial Bridge after “No Kings” protestors told police that the red-white-and-blue clad freak allegedly flashed a handgun. Which then resulted in the bridge being closed to vehicular traffic and Blanchard being hauled off by the authorities.
Nowadays, this MAGA-momma hates Blanchard. First, because he dumped her for having “feelings” for him. She’s also pissed because he threw away two of her phones — “satellite phones” she says — that she left at his house for safekeeping. Most importantly, though, she was angry that she had to learn via the Maine conservative Christian pipeline and gossip mill that she had been exposed to chlamydia.
The whole damn mess feels like an episode of tabloid trash tee-vee. This sordid rigmarole is just sad and pitiful. Especially in light of the suicide earlier this month by one of his jilted lovers in the driveway of Blanchard’s #1 girlfriend.
Sex-and-Love Triangle Turns Tragic
CONTENT WARNING: This Crash Report deals with a suicide. Sensitive readers beware. In Maine, individuals or families in a behavioral or mental health crisis can call 1-888-568-1112.
Many accusations were made during the parking lot clash. The women, for instance, theorized that the now-dead lover had gone to kill him upon learning that she was infected and had possibly passed a venereal disease along to others.
Other details were revealed, too. Like how Blanchard’s #1 girlfriend had dumped him in light of the suicide in her driveway.
Clearly, the 37-year-old Blanchard is a manipulative asshole, fake Christian and a pedo. That’s obvious from his history of hanging around with teenagers. And in the parking lot video, he admits to the high schooler’s aunt to having sex with her 18-year-old niece and infecting her with chlamydia. And this coming from the guy who has spent the last half decade harassing LGBTQ kids, while trying to intimidate librarians, teachers and school officials across Maine and calling THEM pedos, child molesters and perverts.
Talk about projection.
Also, Blanchard is apparently feeling some stress. In the video, he looks defeated and distressed. And his previous gusto for attacking others seems to have vanished.
Expensive chud to keep around
This 3-officer response to the parking lot squabble was just the latest police expense for Augusta taxpayers. From his OUI to repeated outbursts at meetings to Blanchard himself calling 911 and crying to the cops about people harassing him, there have been lots of resources devoted to keeping Corn Pop safe.
In addition, on Wednesday of this week, the City of Augusta’s insurance company paid Blanchard’s law firm the so-called “Institute for Free Speech” $50,000 in legal fees for the chud’s “free speech” lawsuit vs Augusta Board of Education. Blanchard was awarded $17.91 in damages.
And he brought a large “joke” check to the September 9 board meeting, upon the suggestion of WVOM talk show host and chud-enabler Ric Tyler. In the video, he chastises the school board while struggling to hold the jumbo cheque. His arm is in a sling, sources tell me, because he’d been hurt in a scuffle with an unhoused Augusta resident that Blanchard had been harassing.
Gotta wonder the price of Augusta’s in-house legal bills for Blanchard’s free speech lawsuit. Also, what’s the price tag for his subsequent — and still pending — lawsuit against the Augusta P.D. after getting arrested during a No Kings rally last year?
Most importantly, there’s no way of putting a dollar amount on the value of time and energy wasted during school board meetings because of this chucklehead. Or the mental and emotional toll on the normal people forced to deal with him.
As you can see from the novelty check (retailing for around $30) Blanchard doesn’t even know how to fill out a simple banking document.
Enablers galore
The biggest promotor of Blanchard’s antics in the last several years has been the Maine Policy Institute, the multi-million dollar non-profit run by WGAN Radio’s Matthew Gagnon and funded by uber-chud — and Knight of Malta — Leonard Leo, who unfortunately has a residence in Maine. MPI’s fake news outlet, The Maine Wire, regularly highlights and encourage Blanchard’s bullshit ad nauseam.

Even after the video of the parking lot kerfuffle, many GOP pedo protectors still stand by their man, usually with the defense that the young woman was 18, meaning of legal age to have sex with Blanchard.
Yeah. Okay. So friggin’ gross.
Let’s say, for the sake of argument, it was revealed that a Democrat running for school board was in a sexual relationship with a high school student almost 20 years younger. Pretty friggin’ sure every single GOPer would be calling for the rope.
But in this case, when the pedo is one of the GOP’s beloved, not a problem. After all, if they can love their MAGA Daddy, an adjudicated rapist with a weird fascination with his own daughter, it’s no surprise they’d adore a scumbucket like Blanchard.
